Animal Diaries

Our dog, a five-year old Keeshond, has epilepsy. He used to be on Potassium Bromide (KBr) but that didn't stop the seizures. The neurologist has added Phenol Barbitol (PhB), which damages the liver, to the Kbr. He hasn't had a seizure for 9 weeks, the longest he has gone without one. Does anyone else have a dog using these medications, and if so, what kind of luck did you have? How long has your pet been on the meds?
